Shrinking Humanity

When the humanity shrinks,

the soul is crushed.

It is loathed in blood....

the blood of the Devil.

His eyes lies in the frost

Gazing at the mirrors of the flame of pain

His soul has abandoned him.

so he is swallowing others to grim.

This elite kingdom is shattered

The noble King is dead..

the eulogies of Angels have vanished.

all there remains....is the song of the Fiend!!

the fragrance of innocence is now...stinking

and the hearts of millions are now.burning!!!

All there remains are ashes and hatred....

Answer me.O People!

is there any humanity left???

i wrote this when i was feeling really very disgusted after reading and listening all the devastating news.i think probably there is no news now-a-days which doesn't contains "death"......it's really sad.....

O K A Y - definitely not one of my favored subjects (seeing the picture) - As for the question - yes - yes I believe there is humanity left in us. If you look to charities and volunteer functions, people from all over the world are still reaching out a hand to help others.

For instance, I volunteered for 12-years at a remote church food bank despite having no religious connections of my own. Everything went well and no-one cared that I was agnostic (or atheist) since I treated every person with dignity and respect there.

The preacher currently serving knew of my views and that I fully believed religion was a personal and individual thing - but he always treated me with kindness and acceptance - because I wanted to help people.

Eventually this nice preacher as I described him, "Quiet, Passionate, and Senior" retired and was replaced by another, "Loud, Young, and Arrogant" and he 'culled' through the list of volunteers that were not Christian, and my name came up - and he point blank asked me directly as I was filling a box - loud enough so everyone in the room could hear it, "Do you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior ?"

I responded as I think any logical person would. "I have yet to be asked by Him and I think that is His affair, not yours."

so - he promptly dismissed me. Reminded me very much of Joan of Arc. Hmm ...

While not all situations in life are good you should never brood solely on the bad of humanity, there are so many good things in the world. Perhaps that's why God gave us two-eyes, so even if one eye is focused on the bad, the other one can ever and always be focused on the good.

Always look for the good in humanity, and if you can't find it, =MAKE= it yourself so others can see it within you. :)

yet i'm not saying that humanity is vanished, but has quite degraded than it was like before(the title says that). and you're absolutely right that we must make it a better place by ourselves rather than blaming others. as i know that if humanity would have vanished, our existence would have been quite impossible! thanks a lot for this lovey and thought provoking review! thanks again!

Well - you just gotta be in your home, front door locked (and barred, I use a special diagonal metal brace), after 6pm. Even zombies can't get in ! :D

But yes, blame serves really no purpose. I come across something wrong I sigh and say, well, let's just get it done and it'll be lots better when it is - and that's how I go through life.

sadly, i dont think there is any humanity left..maybe im more pessimistic if i say..there has never been humanity..if now we live in wars, blood is the most common color, selfishness is the master of feelings, lack of love, spread of hatred..all of those arent really new..they were found since human has been to earth..
i loved this piece really..

I think. That. The environment has. Engendered this pessimism in you ...and I. Believe. They who should be blame for spreading this animosity and fear in people 's mind …but I think you should have a little optimism ...because if there would be no humanity left..our existence would be impossible (like wayne has said..).though its a sad matter that its fading ..but we must make all effort to preserve it ..right???

I think the news thrives on not having humanity, but I know that there is still humanity left in the world... what about all of the doctors and nurses who save lives every day? A fireman who would risk their lives to pull someone out of a burning building? People who donate money to the homeless? their is still god, left, though i agree with you that it is significantly dwindling....

you are absolutely right...and that was just quintessence....but i told you that i've written it when i was totally driven ti that madness..i know that srill humanity is left..otherwise our existence would be difficult(as wayne said).and the title doesn't says that it's gone.is it??.but what i mean is that .we need to give the answer with our actions and positive deeds.

Like they say bad news sell but they don't show the other side of good humanity. I like so much the poem and the message behind it. We all have to be ambassadors to love , peace and tolerance in this world so we can live in harmony. People too are greedy they don't want to share ( God ) or natural resources. Goverments strive for power and control of other nations instead to be a light to others. All the resulting effects are going to be the death of humans and dark ages.

I believe humanity is always within ourself, its just sometimes we're blinded by other things,and regrets to the end for not treasuring it. And yeah, news always have something to do with hate and deaths, but that doesn't mean there're no love in this society :)

thanks for your kind reviews..and yes.your answer is correct .but i didn't mean that it has absolutely vanished but i don't know how to say..i wrote it when i was driven to this maddness .so when i see and read things like this...it makes me ask this question to myself again and again.i'm a kid right now.but what i see and read.sometimes makes me think that if it will go on like this.then what will happen in the future.....i actually want to do something about it...but i don't know!!
