Morning Glory and the Devil's Due

Morning Glory and the Devil's Due

A Poem by Athena Marie
"

A demo for this song exists somewhere...

"

Let the devil keep his due

I hope that hell is satisfied

Thought I never paid, it's true

He stole my last cent in disguise

He stole my last cent in disguise

This house isn't right tonight

I can feel it in the plaster

Though I never sent an invite

To this guest bearing disaster

To this guest  bearing disaster

Wake me up Morning Glory

Take us back where we belong

I know the end to this story

And the outcome's always wrong

Smash the walls and tear them down

Turn these wooden beams to cinder

Run for your life, just one way out

Pray all this you don't remember

Pray all this you don't remember

Wake me up Morning Glory

Take us back where we belong

I know the end to this story

And the outcome's always wrong

We will feel alive again

We will bask in the springtime air

We'll never have to pretend

Something wicked isn't there

Something wicked isn't there

Wake me up Morning Glory

Take us back where we belong

I know the end to this story

And the outcome's always wrong
