A Thousand Movie ScenesA Poem by Athena MarieCaught in a false moment; reckless and myopic
Climbing up the steps of reason
If this is really stealing It's as easy as breathing Sunny pastures behind your eyes It's frozen where I reside And I'm a little bit tired And oh who could forget this The steps I took to deflect this Now it seems I'm walking backward All the same time running forward Do you hear them calling Us the villains in this story It doesn't feel that way to us Let's blow this town on the next bus Seasons pass faster than lightning It's a little bit frightening When days start colliding Dusty memories shine like new You said I will rescue you But we're still ripped clean in two
