Tomorrow Borrows

Tomorrow Borrows

A Poem by Athena Marie
"

Past-present-future tense

"
Stay home
It's dangerous out there
Don't go
There's poison in the air

Nice dreams
Absorb me at night
I see
Nightmares in daylight

My heart
Plays games with my mind
They fight
They both think they're right

+++++++++++++++++++++++

From today
Tomorrow borrows
So to change now
We must release
The past that haunts
These days to follow
So that this present
Distress
Will cease
