Time Doesn't Care

Time Doesn't Care

A Poem by Athena Marie
"

It just marches on.

"
One more day
Won't make a difference
One more day
Won't be a hindrance
To the rest of my life
Or the rest of the world
Or the sun, the moon, or the sea

One more week
Wont' really matter
One more week
Won't cast a shadow
On the rest of my life
Or the rest of the world
Or the sun, the moon, or the sea

One more blow
Won't break me in half
I'll tip-toe
So we'll never crash
For the rest of our lives
With the rest of the world
Or the sun, the moon, and the sea

Another year
Disappeared in the dust
Time doesn't care
What should happen to us
We sit and stare
As the ashes smolder
Time doesn't care
It just makes us older
