Glass walls

Glass walls

A Poem by aranciata
"

Always seeing, never speaking, forever wishing, desire touching, always hindered, alone with these glass walls.

"
I see you standing you less than 3 feet away
My mouth is open, full of words I wanna say
and when I try reaching out
Tryin to hold on tight
You disappear from my sight
from my sight

I pound and scream and cry, doing anything
The wall in front shakes never breaking, mocking me
and when I finally step away tryin to let you go
you turn around and catch my eye
catch my eye

Let me go
Just let me go

You're standing on the other side of the wall
So perfect so handsome just like a plastic barbie doll
And the walls so thick so clear lettin my eyes feast
on the beauty that is you

I'd rather go insane
in a metal box
I'd rather hide away
with no keys under lock
I'd rather be anywhere
than to be here
suck in a crystal box

Always seeing
Never speaking
Forever wishing
Desire touching
Always hindered
Alone with these glass walls

Author's Note

aranciata
....this was slightly random...I felt like this was a bit word vomit-y?
Some parts sounds better if you sing it to the melody of "Style" by Taylor Swift. Or maybe that's just me...
