"You let her escape?!" the sentence echoed
through the castle walls escaping the throne room.
The throne room was lit with one
thousand five hundred and seven candles including the ones that made
three whole chandeliers to brighten the throne room at night. Amber
flares from the candle really complimented the 48 feet
tall bisque drapes that was selected by the queen. At the end of the
room was a huge shield hanged on the wall with a creast of a fox on top
of a shield and a sword beside it, and below the fox is another fox near
the shield and sword. And there below the shield are two gold thrones.
There, on the right throne sat a
man with short taupe gray hair and blue eyes. The queen who usually sat
on his left was not present. So there he sat alone with a queue of
guards, and between the guards there was a man kneeling.
"Forgive me your highness."
answered the man with green eyes.
King Shairro stood from his throne and walk towards the kneeling man in front of him
who's lowering his head down, eyes starring at the man. The man didn't
move a muscle. He knew very well never to rise till the king ordered,
and never to speak unless spoken to. As King Shairro got closer to him,
his heart beat got faster and faster. King Shairro was known for
ruthlessly killing his men whenever they can't deliver. And he knew he
had failed him.
The
king, on his finest emerald velvet suit, walked in circles around the
man in silence. After several turns, he stopped in front of the man,
gave a sigh and drew a heavy fine engraved sword. "Answer me." he
commanded. "How did she escape?" he then pointed the sword to the man's
throat.
"She used witchcraft my lord." answered that man, taking a big gulp as
the cold blade touched his adam's apple.
"If she was able to do witchcraft,
then why hasn't she vanished herself when you locked her up?"
"I don't know my lord." a drop of
sweat ran through his eyebrow.
"A stupid answer like that will get yourself
killed easily Luq."
Luq was silent.
"One more chance." the king said. "I'll give you one more chance. Look
for her. Kill her. And get my ring back! Understood?"
"Yes my lord."
"Good." hissed King Shairro as he
lowered his sword. "Now leave!"
And with the wave of King Shairro's hand
suggesting Luq to leave, he stood up and left the throne room and sought
for Angel.
