Relations I

Relations I

A Poem by atgettler77

bound by singular moments of exceptional momentum

our steppe ranges without confinement,

crossing lands whose juxtaposition cannot be corroborated

by inquisitions of history or its storytellers, biased by pride.

a fractious tidal journey within astomarital whims

bearing the weight of whatever we can conceive

gleams transparent as age burrows its face into our heart.

ribboned with private vibrant murmurs

are memories exclusive,

shepherding time up a downward path

toward a denouement at rest, bathing in the dark.
