Drug Therapy

Drug Therapy

A Poem by Alexandra

Acetaminophen
Numbs the very pain that starts at the root of my mouth to the trunks of my legs

My heart races
And I feel my vessels pulsate
Relieving the angina from heartbreak
& opening the very veins that used to constrict to the first syllable of your name

Forego the therapy & attempts to reinstitue my past self
It's already fucked up
So I result to this:
Holding my pills with no other plausible resource of help
