A cycle.

A cycle.

A Poem by Tumadre

It's true, I guess you can never win,
Always in the wrong, can never sing the right song to satisfy anyone,
I guess it will never end.
When will you refuse to bend and not give in?
You do so much for her yet no respect is returned
Always expected, but you're consistently burned.
You say you're used to it, well I guess so am I.
Someone not giving thanks for what you do, going through the
Motions of life, letting time just pass us by.

Whoever you wrote this for will feel the burn
Tables will turn and then he will learn
The fact that, when he reacts, it bites him back
Needs to show respect and just burn the old contract
He had with her; that will make your heart stir
In respect and utter ecstasy, coherent respect, you see.
Just know he loves you, adores you, praises and worships you
While continuing to try to protect you; it's true.
