The saint and the sinnerA Poem by Aswin R PrasadMy view.He was the good guy, The one who never lied, The one who always tried. Careful with others feelings, No matter how hurt he might be. He always tried for others to be free. He opened the doors for people in the dark, He never needed a key, Happiness was enough to leave a mark. He was the one who cared, Careless of what he bore. He was the saint, Who never decided his own fate. Then there was this guy, Who lived in lies, Who never tried. Selfish for his own needs, Never did a single good deed. Arrogant,Stubborn..all in one. Having him around was never fun. Never thought about others, Left everyone smothered. He was the one who tore, Everyones heart and they were the ones who bore. He was the sinner, Who did what he pleased, the silent killer. The saint looked at the mirror,
His reflection was of the sinner. And to ensure, He moved his arm, The arm that never harmed. But the sinner did the same. No! The saint wasn't insane, They both were the same. Everyone at some point Will be the sinner And at another be the saint. © 2016 Aswin R PrasadAuthor's Note
