One Last Time

One Last Time

A Poem by Aswin R Prasad
"

When you're really tired of fighting with someone, but still nobody lets go just 'cuz you want them in your life real bad!

"
I'm so sick of fighting,
Now,It's starting to bring me down!
And when i see you 'typing..'
I hope,with a frown,
that you might send your apologies..
But,All I see is more stubborn words,
And we start fighting again!
Both of us, now so sore with pain,
For a while now,
Things have been low,
And 'high' is just another word,
A word that gives us hope!
We both try to cope,
It's like we're tied together with a rope!
Nobody leaves,Maybe,
That's how it's supposed to be..
Sometime,We don't talk for days,
Sometimes,my heartbeats, they rise..
"Miss You",is something i wanna say,
But,my ego,it won't let me say!
At last, you come up to me,
And ask if we could try one last time...
And then,I remember,
The last time when you said the same!
But still I say,"One last time it is"...
Hoping..Still hoping!..
I don't wanna let you go..I really don't!..

Oh, I thought this was a fight between you and your gf. haha, sorry. However, I like the words here and as well as the story in the poem. It's true that the last words are not always the last and it leaves us frustrated. Though, I must say that both must have understanding and enough faith to each other. Whatever must happen, friendship is more important than pride.

Nothing I could say bad against this. Good job! :)

This is actually good. You pour your feelings in a very straight forward manner which I really like. And just like your other writings, this one also has that spark. Beautiful. :)
