Trail Of Sound SerenityA Poem by Shaun Payton
On a trail of sound serenity
she falls in love with butterflies and bees how they glide, fly, and float hovering about, milling around without a care. She sees the birds in the trees nature makes sounds that sing the wonder of her vision, she falls in love with the little things; The blades of grass, the flowers at bloom the blue sky reborn on the trail of sound serenity. She sees me smiling and laughs 'Why are you smiling?" "One-watching you tender to this beautiful pace is whimsical, and I'm listening and learning." She falls in love with Autumn and the leaves change to colors of her imagination The wind switches directions at the closing of her eyes-she may be reminiscing or taking in a moment of clarity. I wear a mile-wide-smile, she opens her eyes, 'Now why do you smile so?' "Because all this beauty absorbs into my soul, and I see you clearly as a wonder of wonderful things passing through my mind." 'I'm a tigress at times.' "And I'm a wolf at times and this is the place...." 'Where passions meet.' On a trail of sound serenity we walk, we talk, and I'm listening and learning, her mind is more provocative in her life philosophies, in her voice humming of a searching, for what I'm not certain, but her eyes captivate the land, for as far as I can see, every magnificent thing is magnified by her presence. She stops, 'Please do tell why you smile so?' "Because, I'm here, and you're here, and for the longest moment I've ever known, the world seems, it seems like its just revolving around the two of us, on this trail of sound serenity." 'You know, sometimes I'm a tigress.' "And you know, sometimes I'm a wolf." She falls in love with the butterflies and bees, the birds in the trees the blades of grass the flowers at bloom and the blue sky is reborn my heart beats ever so gently listening and learning. © 2014 Shaun PaytonFeatured Review
