Lingering In Your EarsA Poem by Shaun Payton
Greater than any knowledge is the summary
of every breath you have taken and every way you could feel, while walking or dreaming in the light of visions Across the mystic night sky. Outlines curl up next to you and they shelter Those bad things, those confusions Melting between lips while you confess within, of wanting and needing, a little wild side.. With dark silhouettes dancing and mocking The sultry taste you explore in the idea's You'd throttle back from everyone else's eyes You could fire those embers with a brush of your hair Or by intensifying those vibes, you know those. Every desire rushing through like an exhausting pleasure A consumption guaranteed to curl toes And leave my whispers lingering in your ears. © 2014 Shaun PaytonReviews
