I Say I Love You

I say I love you just to hear it back
I just need these words as a drug addict needs crack
But speaking about my feelings, there are none of them left
And I feel that I'm no longer of reason bereft

I've never thought it would be that easy
Just to forget everything, and people who are sleazy
I didn't mean you're one of them
I'm reluctant to condemn
But just as drug addict needs a stem
I don't need you, but air that's breezy.

But, Do not tell someone you love them, just to hear it back!
Find that true Love, and then when that true love says those words, what a feeling those words will have accompany them!
