Jaded

Jaded

A Poem by James

I can't afford to have any loose ends,
No time to lose, no faulty friends.
Plastic holds no comparison to steel,
Discovered the noose at the end of this rope,
You've got nothing, but false hope,
What does it matter if I bust my knuckles on the crutch?
Dependent, no more!
Criminal, tyrant, face me.
Jaded, by my enemy,
Surely, god-smacked in my temple,
I must break away.
