The Wizard

A more personal based poem.

An unquenchable thirst for strength is euphoric, I sit here alone, because everyday I stand with them. Thriving off of self-conflict, coals in the fire, Participate in the madness of a scribe wizard, inner inferno. I'm me though, breathing notes, writing noises, feelings that spark! You understand where I'm coming from, but you're not here. So, don't pretend you can see the lights, the red drake rage! Mad dragon, spitting fire down, down the black hole. Who are you to deny me of my soul?

I've been reading some of your poems, and they're all incredible! So full of emotion, and they express it through some of the most creative and clever words/phrases I've ever seen. I love the last line "Who are you to deny me of my soul?", and I hope to read more of your work—you're a really good writer :)

Thank you. I write most of my poems in under twenty minutes simply because I don't think about what I want to write, I just write what I feel like writing.
