A Six and Twenty -Minute Verse

A Six and Twenty -Minute Verse

A Poem by seath

There is an upheaval

Inside my crest

And for my heart to concede

Would mean an end!  to the ironies

We had gradually collected.

For my sinews to continue

Would call for a euthanasia

To this flickering, fading ego.

There is an uprising

Inside my very brain

And I sit with Apathy

As  the world mirrors me.

An imaginary tide envelops

My sight, my mind, my plums

Now I rest with the horizon

Famished for any resolution.
