a view from the lighthouse

a view from the lighthouse

A Poem by seath

Bury a number of your emotions

Urgently do, please do so!

Save your soul and mind!

You are not just a residue

You are not just a speck of dust

From  this forest-like society.

Use your empathy (to be wise)

Either for the cruel-hearted

And for the unconcerned

And for the soft-hearted.

Provide some reins

For your eyes and chest

To be free from haunting rains.

Be chaste in your thoughts

For the weak and your beloved.

Be wary of reptiles

Especially if they’re civilized

They may speak of true lies.

Save your own dear self

No one’s going to snatch you

From being tangled

In the knots created by your own creative

-imaginative head.

I do hope that this one was not just written to knock the head momentarily of the speaker for there is really a need for him to realize that one needs to create balance between passion and reason. Burying oneself in an agony will never help him grow in any form.

true, no one can save a soul best other than yourself... a self healing process requires a lot of patience to achieved it's goal... but that's life, it's a long process...
