Sleeping in a Dream

Sleeping in a Dream

A Poem by seath

On the solstice of my crepuscular autumn day

I made a couch out of the withered brown leaves

And out of such acute exasperation, I glanced

Bleakly- - in the vast expanse of the red horizon

Everything is stationary; gloom--in absence.

And out of these images I had laid myself deep-

In sleep, knowing not, my acuity fails me not-

To be sober, while hearing the voices of the past

So subconsciously I coiled, like a cradled piece

Comforted by the smooth caresses of the womb

Then I awoke suddenly, for my dreams were cold.

And there I found the leaves were turned to gold.

Sometimes everything can be that stationery. That twisted and separated from your feelings, blank pages are only left. Your ending speaks of hope, and light.
Exquisite dear poet!
