I wish for you
The peace of a Summer's Day



And the joy and freedom
To ride for a moment


On Butterflies Wings






With the colors of the rainbow
You are alive in the sky
Floating petals of beauty
Too soon gone from my sight

Come and rest just a moment
Before flying away
Bless the heart's of my friends
With your beauty today



Your wings softly flutter
As you dance on the air
Held aloft by soft breezes
You have not a care

With no thoughts of tomorrow
Or what soon could be
Touching the blue of the sky
You fly magnificently free




Butterflies of the morning
Where are you off to today
Would you allow a mere human
To watch as you play

I envy your freedom
You have no cares to hide
No sorrows to darken
Your heart as you fly



You bring thoughts of my children
I held safe in my arms
They now too have their freedom
To find who they are

And as they are exploring
This world on their own
May they be touched
With some beauty
Of memories of home







For a heart that may be crying
My wish is today
The peace of butterflies wings
That I've left here today

May your tomorrows be treasured
Your sorrows be few
May our Lord's richest blessings
Be bestowed upon you



When your heart finds no meaning
To search out the day
Please remember this friend
Who sends blessings your way

Your tomorrow is waiting
To be claimed by you
On butterflies wings
May your wishes come true

It is beautiful and so are the visuals .. i needed to read this .. lost a loved one in
July and she loves butterflies and so i think of her now being able to fly with them .. thanks for a beautiful inspiration poem .
