One Look at You

I made this poem last year for this boy who moved back to Norway.

One look at you and my stomach fills with your warmth

Your eyes meet mine and I slowly melt into you

Your smile captures me, but I won't help it

One look at you and my stomach fills with acid

The pain is sweet

Your voice vibrates, trickling into my heart

I feel your laugh electrocuting me, burning every inch of my body

I want more

One look at you and my stomach fills with desolation

You make me feel so real and I'm never empty

You make me feel full

But one look at you and my heart fills with sorrow
