Identity

Identity

A Poem by Ana
"

A quick poem I made for a project in my English class.

"
Who am I?
and who are you?
Are we as different as we believe?
Perhaps understanding our deepest secrets,
our warmest colors,
our favorite songs could bring us together.
Her hair is dyed Blue and his nails are light Pink
both different; both vivid and filled with identity
but are they as different as we believe?
I like watching action movies; the thrill
He prefers long walks on the beach; the peace
both different; both vivid and filled with identity
but are we as different as we believe?

This raises a doubt on the fact the all human beings are different from each other. Every thing that is uniquely stated and has distinct, unchangeable attributes is considered to have an identity. If the difference is eliminated, the identity that explains the difference also becomes non- existent. A nice approach and a newly observed axiom. Good work.

Eighteen. I'm infatuated by music. There isn's a specific genre that I love, it all depends on whether I like the song or not. I've always enjoyed writing on my journal, but it wasn't poetry. T.. more..
