Thy heart and soul are the same

When we let love in

It fills us with joy

Although, like everything else

Too much is a pain

For with too much love

Our heart and soul corrode

Burned, Dissolved, Broken, Gone...

This is incredibly thoughtful and the flow is consistent, which is a plus. I wonder, of what kind of love do you speak? Perhaps I'm just reading too much into things but I envision a love for a friend. Ah well, that's just me being weird. Isn't what you say the truth! At first love is like a shiny new car. In the end it's a rusted old jalopy that spitters and spatters down the road.
