She exists...

She exists...

A Poem by Asmi Bhattacharya
"

For the healing heart. We've all been there.

"
She was smiling like there was no end to her happiness.
Her face was glowing like the morning sun.
She was dancing like a mermaid in the sea of her desires.
The world could only envy what she felt.
The melancholy of the universe suddenly seemed to have faded away.
The sparkle in her eyes depicted a beautiful chaos.
Her insanity was way beyond sane imagination.
To the rest of the world she was just a demented woman,
But to HIM she was MAGIC.
He was her knight in shining armour.
She confided in him with every ounce of her soul.
They were like a perfect piece of melody, rhythmic and soulful.
No,they weren't nomadic souls wandering about to find homes,
They lived in the hearts of one another.
"Long live such bond",said the kind.
Little did they know about what was coming ahead of them.
Then blew the stormy winds.
She waited , stranded in the midst of nowhere, for her prince to show up.
But he was gone.
Long gone.
Today that girl lives in a world tagged 'real'.
Her thoughts are now imprisoned in her mind.
Her soul thirsts for love.
She exists.
Merely exists.

This was a like a dream, we all have been there. We dream of someone to lift our hearts like prince/princess, we hope they will love us and make us feel special but in reality that dream merely exists...

You have managed to keep a good balance throughout the poem, it seems to me a free verse poetry which I believe superbly penned.. I a very beautiful thought provoking write which many people can relate to... Well done.... Full ratings...

Haha.Thank you so much. :)
True love seems to be a wonder; not a reality, but a wonder of most wandering minds. This piece speaks to those minds allowing sanity to be truly insane...holding on to one's truest love never really knowing if you've ever held it at all. Beautifully done.
