Dragon's CaptiveA Poem by Giggling StarWhile the dragon sleeps in the depths of satiation The knight silently waits locked in numbing hesitation He has wished every day for a life of calm serenity While being held captive for a more than an eternity The knight is of a gentle heart, not willing to engage The dragon’s fearful fire, the dragon’s bitter rage He loathes the very thought of stating his desire For he knows the dragon’s fury … he knows the dragon’s ire The knight becomes aware of a tantalizing maid Beckoning him on to a life of which he prayed A life of untold joy and many hidden treasures A life of everlasting love, a multitude of pleasures Alas, in his dread of inciting painful wrath The knight is unwilling to take his chosen path So each day that passes and he finds he can’t confess

Nothing makes me feel more loved that to be gently teased ... and I like to tease you back. In the end ... I hope I die laugh.. more..Writing
