A Plea To God

A little conversation with God that I'm currently having, and what I think he is telling me.

“Please Father, please. Give us this gift we so desire. Let us be together again”

 

            “You closed your eyes to My gift the first time. And you … both of you … chose to selfishly abandon it … without regard for Me or each other”

 

“Please, we are different now! We both know we have to rely on you.

Relent and have mercy on us”

 

          “I know, because you are old in earthly terms, you feel you are ready. But, here with Me, your souls are so very young.  You may not have gained the wisdom you need to care for this, My greatest gift”

 

“Please Father. We will care for it. We will nurture it, cherish … treasure it.

We are devoted to each other”

 

          “You did not let your souls guide you the last time.”

 

“Oh God, we have learned so much from our past.

We know we need to stop and look to our own spirits

if we feel ourselves weakening.

Won’t you have pity and

give us another chance to be together?”

 

          “My lambs, I love you unconditionally.  I know you are sincere, but I know what is best for you. If I cannot let you be together again in this lifetime … have faith as I will give you the gift of great love in the next life. Because this is the lesson you came here to learn … to be as I am … to love each other in spite of all your human weaknesses … for your souls to become ever more enlightened … in order to be closer to Me.”

 

“Amen God … Your will be done.”

How moving. This one brought me tears. I can hear the plea. I can hear your sobbing. I was really touched. I always believe that nobody is perfect. We were born to be with our own weaknesses. We make mistakes. But what is important is we know how to accept our sins..and we are trying to change for the better.
I don't know your story but I really wish for your reunion. You should give yourselves a chance. Love is lovelier the second time around, isn't it? Whatever pain we have from our past, it can be healed by true love. In love, there's no revenge...

BTW, I was imagining I am talking to my mirror while making this comment.
