What would I do without you

What would I do without you

A Poem by Asif Iqbal Pias

What more could entertain me more, except perhaps your heartfelt smile for me and on my stupid jokes even if everyone else thought them to be unworthy of laughter.

What sight would i prefer to see more, except perhaps your beautiful face glowing like the tip of a snow capped mountain glowing in the first rays of the sun which stands no comparison to anything else.

What else would i think of, except perhaps the godly figurine of yours which to me is the only idol to place in the temple of my heart!

What smell would i rather inhale, except perhaps the smell you emit from every pore and curve of your godly figurine!

What would i rather taste, except your lips; which are the only place to touch for a mortal like me!

What would i rather feel, except perhaps the moisture of your lips would nourish the dryness in my life!

Who would i rather love in this world, except you and you are the world for me! World without you is a dark abyss for me.

What would i rather be, except you, nothing but an animal with the crude instincts of survival; with you an animal with the instincts of surviving together!

Good job of including all the senses in your expressive observations about one's beloved. I like the parallel way you ask a similar question in each paragraph, but worded differently each time. In the very first phrase, maybe one instance of "more" could be omitted? Similarly, maybe "godly figurine" could be restated a little differently the second time in a row? Just a couple observations . . .
