Darkness

I thought I was alone in the dark

but then I saw a guy next to small sparks

He seemed to get farther away

but then he looked at me and right then, I knew that was my last day.

Author's Note

I love Rick Riorda's Percy Jackson series. In book 4, percy and his friends got lost in the Labyrinth, a dark place. That's what inspired me to write this poem.

The Percy Jackson's series is the best :). I haven't read the fourth book yet but this gives me a good idea of that scene. The flow isn't that smooth but still good job. Keep on writing!
