Baby I Love You

Baby I Love You

A Poem by Alewis

I can't hear through the ringing of my ears.

I can't see through the tears in my eyes.

You are the beat of my heart,

Keeping me alive for that one moment with you.

Though my heart is still beating,

I cannot breathe.

My purpose in life is different than others.

You'll see that it's true.

I was not meant to make you smile.

I was not meant to make you cry.

I was meant to share all the moments

Of life till death with you.

If you are dying, I won't let you go alone.

I will die with you.

Side by side,

Hand in yours.

When you are laughing at me, I won't get angry.

That's a promise.

I'll laugh with you

Till we can no longer breathe.

I promise to stay by your side

Till the very end.

I have only four words for you:

Baby, I love you!

Love is such a precious emotion. It can make you sick or lift your feet off the ground. I think that once you open your heart to love you soon experience all that comes with it.
