yesterday was the past tomorrow is the future and today is the present it is called the present because it is meant to be a gift to live for tomorrows satisfaction is like living in another world focus on today and the things you will benefit from remember the past but don't let it take over you a gift is meant to be enjoyed one to be cherished and everyday is a new gift and every new gift is full of new surprises and everything you need in a day to make it awesome I have a problem living in the here and now I'm always in the past live in the present hope for the future and never dwell on the past

Actually, after a number of readings, I can see that the way the poem is now can cause the reader to pay more strict attention and thus be me open to the message.
