DO YOU REMEMBER!

DO YOU REMEMBER!

A Poem by Asra Hakak
"

Sharing tales of those we've lost is how we keep from really losing them.

"
Do you remember those bunks,
Remember the antics of the two happy chunks.

Do you remember the problems you and I faced,
Remember the paths that we traced and traced.

Do you remember being the guitar champ,
Remember being up at the camp.

Do you remember laying in the snow,
Remember that epic animated show.

Do you remember that big city light,
Remember how we couldn't say goodbye that night

Do you remember days by the cherry tree,
Remember our loving hearts and the journey.

Do you remember the walk in the fog,
Remember our favorite pet dog.

Do you remember the snow and the frost,
Remember how all of it got lost.

Do you remember 'ME' ,
Remember when you and I were 'WE'.

That is absolutely true and you quite aptly illustrated the same in your poem.
It was a sweet and nicely rhymed poem :)
