STANDING UNDER RAIN...

STANDING UNDER RAIN...

A Poem by Asra Hakak
"

Death ends a life, not a relation .

"
Standing under rain,
I saw your body laid .
it had turned out blue,
and I had no clue,
of what was going on,
there in the lawn!
So I shouted loud,
but I was disallowed.
So I held in my pain,
and couldn't even complain
So I just stepped back
and stood beside the rack .
As they took you away,
you left me to defray .

The moment that you left, my heart was split in two.
One side was filled with memories and the other died with you.

The first part has this emotion that actually fills you with the terror the character might be feeling.
"take a walk down the memory lane with tears upon my cheek" I really like this line.
And the one you put in the title of the poem is very true, you should put it in the poem.
