Lies of Satan and Truth of God

Lies of Satan and Truth of God

A Poem by Asra Hakak
"

let's embrace the right thing

"
SATAN tells you lies like
''It's ok''
And every thing is going to be alright
It's then when your body and soul fight
And it's all darkness and no light
Because you are the blind with sight
And the future is not looking so bright
You say you're going to stop but then you say there's no might,
Chances are slight
''BECAUSE YOU REJECT DAY AND EMBRACE NIGHT''

but your GOD knows
''It's not ok''
''It's not alright'
So he makes you know all this is not right
And this is an every day fight
It's then when you want to do what's right
Because you hate darkness and you need light
Now take the shades off and have a sight
Of the future that's looking so bright
You have stopped saying there's no might
And now the chances aren't so slight
BECAUSE NOW YOU EMBRACE DAY AND REJECT NIGHT .

"BECAUSE NOW YOU EMBRACE DAY AND REJECT NIGHT"
I agree. We decide our journey. Good or bad. Free-will of man. I tell people follow the good road. Know kindness, concern and love. A good life or decide the other. A dark life leave you alone with your greed. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry. Left the reader with things to think about.

tysm for the read and the review
Very powerful and thought provoking words. What matters most is what we make of the day and night. I accept both for neither would exsist with out the other. I couldn't agree more with Coyote and Alondra T.N. We must all choose what is right and good for each of us. While at the same time not allowing the great deceiver do what it does best. Great piece!

You are welcome.
I hate it when people blame God for the mistakes of humankind and say that he doesn't exist because they have been hurt by evil people. They pray to God asking him for something he promised us that he wouldn't do, which is controlling other humans just like he does with the Angels, but they have no will and God gave us complete freedom to do whatever we wanted with our lives. You know Death used to be an angel and God took away his emotions and made him death. All those humans that complain about the pain that evil people have caused to them and they blame god, I am sure they wouldn't trade their lives for the job Death has. And I don't even blame the devil for the evil in this world, it is like you say here he tells us lies and we choose to follow them, we choose to listen to him for just like God has no control over us the devil doesn't either. We make the decisions in our life.
And you did a great job with this poem, you made think about all of this. Loved every line.

Very well done! I am a Christian and many in this world either don't know who God is or just plain don't care. God is good all the time! And all the time, God is good!

Exactly, Asra!
Works the other way around for most people... Sadly. Hell, God seems to be dead.
