The DifferenceA Poem by ashleymarieFirst visit
I walk in
I take a seat I pick up the phone and my fingers stick to it I see her awful appearance through the inch thick glass I see the mixture of emotions written all over her face I speak with anger in my tone I cry with frustration I leave with nothing accomplished I never thought it'd be this way. I walk in I sit down I see her. I didn't even recognize her. I let my emotions show knowing that I shouldn't I speak. We speak. I cry. We cry I watch her get up and leave I never expected to be in this place. © 2015 ashleymarie |
