Death?

Death?

A Poem by ashleymarie
"

We haven't spoke since last Christmas.

"
If I died tonight

Would you cry tonight
Would you feel a thing
Would you numb like Novocaine
Would you be in agony
Complete insanity
Would you cry and cry
Would you want to die

If you died tonight

I would cry tonight
I would feel many things
I would numb like Novocaine
I would be in agony
It'd be complete insanity
I would constantly cry
I would want to die

Because neither of us got to say goodbye.

I liked it, good read. Relationships of any kind seem to hold so much power over us.

Yeah...especially when it's a not present mother. c:
This poem immediately felt like a personal piece from the very first line. I like how you wrote the poem through both views of the reader and yourself. A very good read.
