Bliss

Bliss

A Poem by ashleymarie
"

When you make a mistake and cannot take it back. You just want some type of distraction.

"
I'm resting in this tall, green grass
There is no more broken glass

My knuckles still hurt
Open wounds covered in dirt
The blood keeps trickling down
I cannot tame my frown

This wasn't planned
Oh my god, look at my hand

It was just a reaction
I need a distraction

Ah, there it is
Nothing but bliss

I am resting in this tall, green grass
There is no more broken glass.
