Where Can Love be Found?A Poem by ashleymarieNothing important. Not a necessity. Just a want. The kisses on my neck Turning me into a wreck My unsteadiness seems to fade Not caring that I'm getting played For me, that's how it always works But to this there are some perks At this moment I'm not alone Whatever was planned can be postponed But when the moment comes to an abrupt end I'm aware it's nothing I can mend Because it was nothing in the first place It's like some difficult race A long distance sprint Winning this competition for a heart on my imprint I'm done messing around Someone for me to actually love needs to be found I no longer want to play games My pride has disintegrated into a dust of shame Who could ever love someone like me anyway This is some s****y child's play If you desire, I'll change Only if you exchange Difference for passion Don't think that I'm desperate It's just this cold climate It has me wanting to be wanted It doesn't have me haunted It's not something I need This is not a plead Just a mere wish Just a few moments I can cherish
