Does it Matter?

Does it Matter?

A Poem by ashleymarie
"

Pure loneliness

"
Seeing her as an outcast
But really she's just wearing a full body cast
Letting her emotions seep deeper and deeper
Who is the soul to her keeper?
People looking upon her with nothing but judgement
And of that she catches a scent
The aroma of loneliness
Leaving her heart motionless
In her head she gives up and drops to the ground
Thinking that she'd never be found
But in reality she just kept walking
Not letting anyone on the outside know that on the inside she was sulking
Missing the times where she didn't have to worry
Because life was not a rush, no one was in a hurry
But now she was
Only because
She was full of doubt
Stuck in this life when all she wanted was to get out
Screaming
Crying
Banging on the walls
Desperately yelling, from the inside she calls
HELP
HELP
No one hears
No one comes near
Shaking the bars of this prison
No one will listen
She's doing life without parole
It's nothing she can or ever will be able to control
She believes forever she will be alone
What she doesn't know is that it goes down to the core, to the bone

She figures it out
Now knowing without a doubt
She doesn't care
Nor will she ever share
Her secrets
No one will know her weakness
No one will know her history
Some things are better left a mystery

Nothing but pure luck C:
I didn't see the imagery, but thank you. It's always good to get an outside look on things.

Well expressed. I can almost 'see her'.
(Funny coincidence is, that it reminds me a lot of a main character in my book. Pure luck? :) )
