A Simple Wish

The way I feel

Is completely unreal

My heart has been shattered

It feels as if it’s been battered

He knows of my pain

But what does he gain

By ignoring me

He’s practically shoving me

As hard as he can

He is barely a man

But he is who I love

And my love flies away like a dove

And I beg for him to stay

But I just get betrayed

Oh I wish he would have stayed

Leaving me lonely

And I feel very clingy

But my hearts no longer singing

Sweet joyous songs

Of the time where I belonged

A happy young women

If I would have only proven

That life would be fine

Not so much divine

But we would strive

Until we took a dive

Deep into the ground

Unless they spread my ashes all around
