Fighting the Fire With Jesus

The fire has been burning for way too long,
This kind of fire makes me feel sad, depressed, cold and alone.
I've taken enough of Satan dragging me down,
It's time to give it all to Jesus because He is the one that wears the crown.
I'm putting down all my burdens and giving them all to my Lord,
This wildfire isn't going to hurt me anymore.
I'm surrendering my whole life and everything with it to Jesus,
He is the one that can bring peace and in Him I trust.
I want that fire that brings the Holy Spirit inside,
I don't want that fire that will make me cry.
That peace fire that God can give,
That kind of fire I want to live with.
God is the only one that can put the wildfire out,
I just have to give it all to Him and say it with my mouth.
I want God's presence here with me through my conflicts,
I don't want Satan and all his horrible tricks.
I'm going to put out the wildfire and follow my king,
Then I'm going to wait for that Holy Spirit and to Jesus I will sing.
