Marriage and His Word

Marriage and His Word

A Poem by Ashley Dawn Proctor

Marriage and His Word
By: Ashley Proctor

When you say your vows marriage is meant forever until the end,
God wants marriage to be combined with His love over and over again.
Some days will be hard and God can get you through,
Marriage isn't always easy but with God He can make it easier for you two.

A marriage is stronger when God is the key,
He will open up doors for you and make you happy.
Trust in the Lord when the days are easy and tough,
Marriage can get better with God and He will help you with His love.

Loving God first is the key to having a great marriage because both of you have the same goal,
That will make Him happy knowing you love Him with all your soul.
You have to work together and use God's word,
He wants you to love Him through marriage and to put Him first.

A marriage with God can help you have more love and understanding,
With Him in your life He can get you through anything.
When your marriage gets tough just know He is watching over you,
You both need to bring God in so He can make it easier to get through.

Some peoples marriages consist of fighting and problems,
Those are the type of marriages you won't have if you trust in Him.
Yes you will fuss and have disagreements I'm sure,
If you two keep your eyes set on God He can make your marriage so beautiful and pure.

Marriage is about love and commitment,
Let God be your guide through marriage and use His words He sent .
Always remember God is be your side,
Choose God in your marriage and He will be your guide.
