I'm Ready to Go to Heaven
By: Ashley Proctor

I'm ready to go to Heaven and it's constantly on mind,
I'll be so excited to see Jesus in person for the first time.
I'll sing with the angels and dance around,
Oh I can't wait to hear the trumpets and their beautiful sounds.

I'm ready to go to Heaven and see my family and friends,
It will be so lovely and it will feel like it's a Heavenly reunion.
I can imagine the beautiful sights I will see,
Oh I'm ready to go to Heaven and that's where I want to be.

The pictures in my mind of Heaven has me very anxious,
My eyes are ready to be filled with love and Jesus.
I'll be free from pain that I have here on Earth,
I can't wait until I think only good and have no worry like I did at birth .

Everlasting life there will be so amazing,
Everyday you'll get to be with your glorious King.
I'm ready to see laughter and happiness in everyone's eyes,
It won't be like it is on Earth where we see worry or hear people's cries.

Oh what a day it will be when I get to walk with Jesus above,
I won't be able to describe the excitement I will have being surrounded by His love.
I can't wait to go to Heaven and be able to smile all the time,
You won't even think about the bad anymore because God will take all that away from your mind.

Heaven is where I want to go when I die,
I want to see my God and therefore I will try.
I give my life to Him and I know he will take me where I need go,
I can't want to go to Heaven and that's all my mind will know.

I'm ready to go to Heaven and see the angels fly,
I know it will be a beautiful sight to my eyes.
Heaven is my everlasting home when my time is done here,
Let's all get closer to God because His homecoming is near.
