Golden Heels and Golden Wings

This poem is dedicated to my true friend Autumn that died when she was 16 years old. I miss and love her so much . God Bless!

Golden heels and Golden Wings

This poem is dedicated to my dear and true friend Autumn Winn . I love and miss you so much.

She always wore her beautiful brown hair down and it flowed oh so sweet ,
There was never a stranger that pretty girl would meet.
Click clack her heels would go as she would walk down the hall,
She always tried her best at everything and always would give her all.
Her beauty was unreal and I was proud to call her a true friend of mine,
I loved how she would put on her make up and it was s true divine.
Now she's in Heaven walking down the golden streets,
Making that click clack noise with those golden heels on her feet.

She now has beautiful golden wings that shines so bright and gorgeous like her,
I know she is in a better place but letting her go did hurt.
I know she is watching over me like she always did,
Those days we spent together, I really do miss.
Just knowing that her precious soul is in Heaven today makes me smile,
Autumn is where she wants to be walking with Jesus mile after mile .

She's walking in those golden high heels experiencing Heaven,
The glow on her face shines brighter as the sun shines and as she's waiting patiently for her family and friends.
I bet she's wearing a beautiful white dress that goes perfectly with her golden heels and wings,
I can see her now kissing the butterflies and listening to the angels sing.
Oh what a blessing she was to have in my life and I hated she had to go so fast,
If I could see her today she would tell me to move on with my life and to stop crying so much and laugh.
I bet she's having a conversation with my Nanny telling her stories about what we did together ,
And Nanny is listening and telling Autumn how much she thanks her for being a friend like that to her Granddaughter.
What I loved the most about her was the love she had for everything and everyone,
She was definitely an angel on Earth but now she is in Heaven waiting on all of us until our time is done.

Until I see you again one day, you'll always be in my heart,
I'm going to keep you in my memory and I promise we will never be a part.

I love you girl so much and I can't wait to see you in your heels and your wings,
One day we all will be together with our Savior and our King.
