Let Me Go

Let me go baby because I'm flying higher in the blue skies,
I can see glory everyday through my eyes.
I've been watching you grieve for me and it hurts me so ,
But my darling you will someday have to let me go.
I know you'll never forget me or my face,
I pray that one day you'll find peace in God's grace.
Remember the memories we made together on Earth,
All the happiness and laughter when we didn't hurt .

Hold onto the words I told you as you were growing up,
I meant what I said and I can't tell you, I love you enough.

Be strong for me and make your dreams come true,
Don't stop pushing forward because I'm not right there beside you.

It's hard for you and I see you thinking of me all the time ,
That's okay baby but I want you to move on in this life and shine.

Yes I want you here with me so bad,
But right now you have to make the best of life and stop being so sad.

I'm free of pain and worry here,I promise you that,
I'm okay and in reality I'm not coming back.
Realize I'm a part of you and always will be,
One day you'll be in Heaven and you'll be with Jesus and me,
For now look ahead and do your best,
I know this is hard and it seems like your life is a mess.
I see you succeeding in life and it makes me smile,
Just because you're letting me go doesn't mean your life won't be worthwhile .
I love you with all my heart and I'll always be watching you grow,
One day you'll be in Heaven and you'll never have to let me go,
Until then you need to let me soar,
Even though it hurts me that your heart is torn.
I am safe and happy where I'm at today,
Go on with your life and I promise everything will be okay.
Stop crying so much and smile more,
Because one day I'll be waiting for you at Heaven's door.
