TRUSTA Poem by ashweejunet.r.u.s.t. A five-letter word A five-letter word that can be easily wiped clear off the sheet of paper As if, it had never existed Painful memories flood the mind Bringing back all those times I was hiding in the lies Being hurt and destroyed by not only lovers but best friends Regrets and our pasts should stay in the past But how do you tell your heart and mind it will be ok? How do you know that trust will not be broken once again, How do you know? This love we share is greater than anything I've ever experienced. I love you like no other, I want this, I want us. I just wish I could take away the painful shadows that haunt my dreams © 2011 ashweejune |
