A Poem by ashweejune

In a square frame

Guarded by glass

Stands a small picture

Of love from the past

Though it’s not gone

Its miles apart

Only growing stronger

Deep in my heart

But no matter how strong

I still miss you so

A piece of my puzzle

Vanished a long time ago

Months have passed

Many hours thrown away

Minutes melted away with time

And I have lost count of the days

Still you are there

An imprint on my heart

Life runs in reverse

Living from end to start

No matter where it begins

The feelings remain the same

Troubles still happen and fade

But love isn’t mine to control
