Sadness

Sadness

A Poem by ashweejune

My hands hold out straight ahead

My eyes look the saddest they’ve ever been

My tears have dried and new ones have began

My heart has been shattered and is floating around

Im broken inside and out

A fake smile couldn’t even be that fake

My palms are sweaty

My shirt is damp

I lay on the ground

As the night light showers down on me

Words cannot explain the way I feel

Am I crazy? Is this mental?

I’m falling apart

I’m falling on the ground.

I don’t know where I belong

I keep screaming and screaming

No one seems to care enough to see what’s wrong

I scream my last sound as I fall slowly onto the concrete
