You are the Blame

You are the Blame

A Poem by ashweejune

Throw away the pictures

They always bring me down

Keep them in the garbage for days

Slowly taking each out and putting them back in the frames

As tear drops stain your face

I wipe off the picture and secure it with glass

The love we shared

Is lost now

I let you in

And now I’m alone

What happened to us?

Why is it that it’s always me who gets screwed over?

Every smile so fake

Every laugh so dry

Every tear so real

My heart is broken

And you’re to blame
