StrongerA Poem by ashweejuneWritten in 2006I thought we were good Until the day it all went
black I thought we were real But you were fake like
plastic You were like the wolf in
little red riding hood And I was stupid enough to
not think that you were untrue You broke my heart I cried until I could no
longer breathe But than I sat up and
realized You were not the guy I
thought you were You are a just a boy Not a man How stupid was I to think
you were mature enough for love Yes I care for you a lot I gave you me and thought
you’d do the same But now that it is over I can honestly admit that I
never loved you You lost me I’ll find someone amazing Someone who will treat me
right And love me as much as I
love him Doesn’t it kill you to know
that you’re no longer the apple of my eye? Go talk so s**t, Make another excuse My sky has been black for a
while now, and I’m finally beginning to see the light © 2011 ashweejune |
